Completed an initial feasibility study for Eastside Fire Station and Public Safety Building;
Enacted large truck traffic legislation which increased penalties for persistent offenders and established a system to reduce plea bargaining;
Increased pedestrian crosswalk times on Broadway, installed additional pedestrian signage and tested new pedestrian signaling;
Intensified parking enforcement in and around the downtown area;
Adopted new legislation for apartment inspections within the City;
Enacted the first City "noise ordinance" regulating loud motorized traffic;

Retained parking fee collection agency to recover past due parking tickets with a net increase of $100,000 in annual revenue;
Negotiated contracts for five separate bargaining units without legal cost to the City;
Introduced Emergency Management Dispatcher training for dispatchers;
Approved first "live shooter" training for Police Department at Saratoga High School;
Instituted "ten hour" shift with the approval of the Police union, to reduce structural overtime -projected savings of $50,000 per year;
Reorganized the animal control officer position and parking enforcement officers;
Acquired and implemented advanced technology for traffic studies and law enforcement patrols.
